三大洲在數萬年前竟然都出現有「血手印」的史前文明，這種離奇巧合究竟是為何發生？節目網路版關鍵時刻《劉燦榮穿越之旅》中，劉燦榮認為，全球各地不同時代裡，居然能有極為相似的文明，有兩大主要原因。

然而這些「血手印」形成的原因卻一直是個謎團，劉燦榮說，法國、阿根廷、印尼等國都曾出土過相似的文明，卻沒有一個人類學家敢妄下定論，是否這些地區的人類曾有交流過。劉燦榮在節目中提出兩個論點。
他說：「遠古有一個歷史的斷片，是我們不瞭解的，要不就用外星文明去解釋，說外星人曾經早就來過地球，留下了一些不可思議的東西」。此外，劉燦榮也認為，原始渡海技術獨木舟、舢板船是不可能強形穿越太平洋，進而達到文化交流，「他們有一種很高深的航海技術懂得航海判讀、觀天文、星象，因此不同地點才產生了交流」。
